Joanne Hughes to become consultant to Cohesant and serve on newly created Cohesant Municipal Advisory Board

BEACHWOOD, OHIO—August 1, 2008—Cohesant Inc. (Pink Sheets: COHY) (“Cohesant”) today announced the resignation of Joanne Hughes.  After 13 years of dedicated service to Cohesant, including a stint as President of Raven Lining Systems from December 2005 to November 2007, Joanne Hughes has determined to pursue opportunities outside of the Cohesant family.  Her resignation was effective July 31, 2008, but she will continue on as a consultant to the company until December 31, 2008, with responsibility for various projects.  In addition, Joanne has agreed to serve on a newly formed Board of Advisors for our Municipal Market business on a going forward basis.
